DANVILLE — The men found with 67 pounds of marijuana in their vehicle in Montour County have been released on bail. The brothers, 28-year-old Vagram Sarkisyan and 30-year-old Vaspur Sarkisyan, both from out of state, had their bail reduced on Monday by District Judge Marvin Shrawder.
They both waived their rights to a preliminary hearing and were released after posting bail. State police arrested the brothers earlier this month after they were found driving illegally in a passing lane on Interstate 80 near the Danville exit. The vehicle was searched and marijuana valued at up to $400,000 was recovered from the trunk. The two face similar charges in Utah.
