SUNBURY — When in crisis, a community asks for help from the fire department, and now it’s our time to return the favor. Mayor David Persing says the Sunbury Fire Police are asking for donations to help keep the Sunbury Halloween Parade going.
Persing says any donations will help, “It’s always run by the Sunbury Fire Police, they do an excellent job of getting that together .Of course the numbers aren’t there anymore and we’re looking for donations. Anybody who wants to donate just make that check to the Sunbury Fire Police.”
Checks can be dropped off at City Hall or a city fire company. The Halloween parade is this Thursday October 15th. Trick or treating in Sunbury is set for Saturday October 31st from 6-9pm. (Lauren Koch)
