Maryland woman hurt in a crash in Port Trevorton

PORT TREVORTON — Details have been released on an accident from Friday that tied up traffic on Routes 11 and 15 in Port Trevorton.  State police say 20-year-old Brianna Ryan of Churchville, Maryland hit a spot of standing water on the highway while traveling north.

The vehicle slid off the road and struck a guide rail and spun sideways, blocking one lane of travel.   Ryan was treated at the scene by emergency personnel for a minor arm injury.  Traffic was tied up in the area for about an hour around 10:30 a.m. on Friday.  (Ali Stevens)
