PORT TREVORTON – A Port Trevorton man was arrested after a marijuana growing operation was discovered in his garage. After a lengthy investigation, police went to the home of Craig Poust on Silver Creek Road February 26. Poust’s home and surrounding sheds were searched.
Officers found drug paraphernalia and white powdery residue inside the home. Inside a two car garage, a marijuana growing operation was discovered, with about 20 marijuana plant, growing lights, climate control devices and ventilation. A gun was also confiscated. Poust is not allowed to possess a gun, after he was convicted of aggravated assault in 1997. He was charged with gun violations along with multiple drug charges. (Ali Stevens)
