LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP LYCOMING COUNTY — North Central PA.com is reporting. A man without pants was discovered on a road with another hiker, rangers said.
Timothy Michael Shoeman, 23, stood with his pants completely off as DCNR rangers approached him near Masten Road Loyalsock Township Lycoming County on Dec. 13, Ranger Charles Zeigler said. Shoeman claimed he was a “naturist nudist” when questioned.
Shoeman and another man frantically moved around as two rangers drove toward them just before noon, according to the complaint. After being asked what was going on, Shoeman was told to get his pants, Zeigler wrote.
They claimed to be taking pictures along the trail. The men allegedly planned to hike the Old Loggers Path and camp overnight.
Zeigler said they appeared nervous, stuttering over their words as they offered up explanations. Shoeman allegedly had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol.
Both men allegedly agreed to continue hiking without getting naked.
Shoeman is charged with second-degree indecent exposure, open lewdness, and disorderly conduct. No bail is listed for him.
