Man Taken Into Custody for Gun Incident in Sunbury

The Daily Item reports a man is in custody after Sunbury police were called to Race Street for a report of a man with a gun on Wednesday.  The call came in around 1:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Race Street and the newspaper reports nearby Northumberland County offices were placed on lockdown. One man, who has not been identified, was taken into custody by police without incident.  The investigation continues.
