WATSONTOWN – A Watsontown man is jailed after police say he assaulted a 71-year-old victim October 16. Watsontown Police say 58-year-old Christopher Bartlett placed a pillow over the face of the victim who has paralysis and limited mobility. They says Bartlett also attempted to forcefully administer oral medication to the victim, resulting in the victim calling 911.
When interviewed by police, Bartlett did admit he placed the pillow over the victim’s face several times out of frustration. Bartlett was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael Diehl and committed to the Northumberland County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
