MOUNT PLEASANT MILLS – A Mount Pleasant Mills man was injured Friday morning while trying to move a fallen tree. State police say 65-year-old James Martin came upon a tree that had fallen across Martin Brothers Road in Perry Township, Snyder County.
Martin, who was travelling westbound, stopped his car and got out to attempt to move the tree that was blocking both lanes of the roadway. 26-year-old Tyson Reiff of Mifflinburg hit the tree with his truck, causing the tree to strike Martin.
Reliance Hose Company responded to the scene. Martin was taken to Geisinger Medical Center with unknown injuries. His condition was not immediately available.
