DANVILLE – A Danville man is accused of hiding a smartphone in his bathroom to secretly record a woman taking a shower. Police say 27-year-old Carson John Beaver is facing felony charges for the incident last week and was sent to the Montour County Prison after failing to post bail.
Police say the woman spotted the phone on a windowsill after entering the bathroom on September 3 at Beaver’s home in Danville. She contacted Danville police and Beaver allegedly admitted to the incident. Beaver was charged with attempting to invade privacy, disorderly conduct and attempting to design obscene materials. He has a preliminary hearing September 28. (Ali Stevens)
