LEWISBURG — The Daily Item reports a Mifflinburg man accused of rape has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. 52-year-old Nyahuma Spivey pleaded guilty to terroristic threats and simple assault for the incident in Lewisburg in April. The newspaper reports Spivey was charged last year with raping a woman at her apartment and threatening to return. The victim was able to describe her attacker to police and video surveillance footage shows the victim and Spivey talking in a parking lot at her apartment. Spivey is jailed at the Union County Prison.
