NORTHUMBERLAND — The News Item is reporting… A 35-year-old Northumberland man is accused of punching two police officers while resisting arrest after a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning. Police say Christopher Flores fled the scene of a crash on Duke Street that involved six people.
Officers later found Flores at his Queen Street apartment, where he allegedly struck two police officers while resisting arrest on a stairwell. Flores faces felony charges including aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children. Police say his two children were with him during the incident.
