WILLIAMSPORT – For the first time ever, a Major League Baseball game will be played in Williamsport. The Pittsburgh Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals will be part of the “MLB Little League Classic” on August 20.
The game will be played at Historic Bowman Field that night to spotlight Little League International’s efforts to work with Major League Baseball to celebrate youth baseball and softball. The game will air on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. (Ali Stevens)
