Machinery Accident Claims Life Of LyCo Business Owner
COGAN STATION — A deadly machinery accident has taken the life of a well-known local business owner. Authorities say 70-year-old Arnold Taylor became entangled in a rock-crushing conveyor belt afternoon near Pleasant Valley Road. Lycoming Regional Police and several township agencies assisted at the scene.
According to the Lycoming County Coroner’s Office, Taylor, owner of Taylor Trucking, was operating the machinery when he suffered severe arm and chest injuries. He was pronounced dead at 12:50pm after unsuccessful resuscitation efforts by Susquehanna Regional EMS and multiple fire departments.
