Valley volunteers kept busy today
UNDATED — Volunteer firefighters in Sunbury and Danville have been kept busy with several emergency responses today.
– This morning in Sunbury, there were two natural gas leaks during the 7am hour. Both were dealt with quickly by volunteers. Both were in construction zones.
– That call followed an Automatic Fire Alarm call on Route 61 in Rockefellar Township, Northhumberland County. No fire was found there.
– In Danville this morning, the Danville Child Development Center fire alarm sounded during the 7am hour. There was no fire and the all clear sounded by 8am.
