HARRISBURG – Gasoline prices at the pump have declined a 14th straight week, now surpassing the record decline in 2018. Gasbuddy.com reported Monday state gas prices fell 7.2 cents per gallon in the past week, now averaging $3.84 per gallon.
The national average price of gas fell 3.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.64 per gallon. The national price of diesel 7.0 cents per gallon in the past week, now averaging $4.93 per gallon.
Though GasBuddy has warned the streak could end over the past several weeks, it says this could be the week with issues arising in the Plains and Great Lakes as the transition to winter gasoline begins.
