LEWISBURG – The new liquor store in Lewisburg is nearly ready for its grand opening. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board tells WKOK the new store, located across from Giant in East Buffalo Township, will open January 13.
The current location in downtown Lewisburg will close after its normal business hours Tuesday, January 12. Hours for the new location are Monday thru Saturday 9a.m to 10p.m and Sunday noon until 5p.m. The ribbon cutting at the new location will be Thursday, January 14 at 4p.m.
The liquor store is the second major retailer to move out of downtown Lewisburg for the Penn House Commons development in East Buffalo Township.
