MANDATA – The Line Mountain School Board will meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and are expected to vote on the state-appointed neutral arbitrator’s award. The Line Mountain Education Association approved the award and is waiting on the school board to do the same. The 96 teachers are working without a contract and are prepared to strike immediately if the school board votes against the arbitrator’s award.
Mark Shearer, a social studies teacher and president of the Line Mountain Education Association said, “We are pleased that the Arbitrator agreed with us, but now we need our school board to do the same.”
