MONTOURSVILLE – A light snowfall is forecast for the Valley.
PennDOT advises drivers to avoid unnecessary travel during tomorrow’s winter storm and exercise caution if driving. Crews will pre-treat roads, but icy conditions remain a risk, particularly on bridges and ramps.
Tier 1 vehicle restrictions will be in effect for parts of I-81 and I-84, prohibiting certain commercial and passenger vehicles. Restrictions will be communicated through 511PA and highway message boards. Drivers should prepare for winter conditions with emergency kits and heed safety guidelines around snow plows and crash scenes.
