SUNBURY – One libertarian candidate for commissioner in Northumberland County says the government needs to get out of the way. Ed Quiggle, Jr. says libertarian candidates offer voters a new choice, “The two-party system has failed us and I think we provide an alternative with new ideas and a fresh perpective.”
Quiggle says bringing new business to Northumberland County is important…without government interference, “Libertarians, in general, oppose government interference in people’s lives and that includes business. I think we need to bring businesses here and have people start new businesses and I think the best way to do that is for government to get out of the way.”
