LEWISBURG – One person was injured and a wall and several mailboxes were damaged after a Monday morning accident near Lewisburg. State police say 51-year-old Sharon Boyer fell asleep at the wheel while traveling north on Beaver Run Road in Buffalo Township.
Boyer drove off the road around 9 a.m. and struck a retaining wall at the base of a tree. She also struck several mailboxes. State police say she was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a minor injury. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. (Ali Stevens)
