LEWISBURG — A new ranking says Lewisburg Area School District gives you the most bang for your buck. NerdWallet factored in housing affordability along with standardized test scores and college readiness to create the list that ranks 491 districts in the state.
With a graduation rate of 93.9 percent and 89.2 percent of grads seek higher education, Lewisburg tops the list. The district has received accolades for its academic excellence in an area where average home values are $177,000. (Jennifer Wakeman)
