LEWISBURG – There is sadness in the Lewisburg community today after the unexpected death of a young person. The death of Jaxon Snyder, an eighth grader in the Lewisburg Middle School came Monday after an illness.
The school is out with a statement saying ‘It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the loss of one of our students…they say he touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and he will be missed by all who had the honor of calling him friend.’
School started Wednesday at Lewisburg and counselors were made available for students. The district said, ‘Our hearts go out to Jaxon’s family, friends, and the entire community as we navigate this loss together. We hope for strength and healing in the days and weeks to come.’ The family is raising money to pay for funeral expenses.
