Lewisburg, Pa. — NorthCentralPA.com reports a Lewisburg man was arrested after he led police on a high-speed vehicle chase topping speeds of 100 mph on rural roads.
44-year-old Ryan Joseph Bickel faces nine charges for the incident from May 5 in Buffalo Township.
When state police tried to pull over Bickel for an expired inspection sticker, he allegedly began accelerating at a high rate of speed. After traveling for two miles, Bickel stopped on Aikey Hill Road and police were able to approach and detain him.
Bickel was charged with misdemeanor fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving while license DUI suspended, and various traffic summaries.
