LEWISBURG – It’s the first ever Restaurant Weekend in downtown Lewisburg. The event is getting underway today and runs through this Sunday, celebrating the town’s diverse dining scene.
Lewisburg Downtown Partnership intern Nev Durrwatcha created the idea, “These individuals are creating dishes that go back generations. They’re being innovative and creating things that are up with the times. So I wanted to do something that showed the community these bigger picture ideas.”
The downtown partnership says 21 restaurants are taking part and you can find the full list at Lewisburg pa.com or on Facebook.
Each time you dine, snack, or drink out at a participating business, you can enter on Instagram to win prizes from the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership.
Downtown partnership executive director Ellen Ruby says that includes Lewisburg Downtown Dollars and swag, “Post the picture of your purchase from the participating eatery, tag both @downtownlewisburgpa and the participating business if they have an Instagram account, and use #dineoutLBG.”
Anyone wanting to participate should check individual business hours first before going to taste their dishes throughout the weekend.
