LEWISBURG – Playworld is elaborating on the playground coming to Lewisburg. The donated equipment and installation is a thank you to the community and first responders after an out-of-control fire at the company last May.
Chip Zechman, a Sales Development Specialist from Playworld tells WKOK Sunrise that the company is donating an all-access playground with a new apparatus as well as other favorite accoutrements, like swings.
The playground is located in Hufnagle Park, “We wanted to come up with a new playground area for down in Hufnagle the old Kidsburg site. One really important thing to note is we’re bringing swings back. That was the first thing we heard from everyone when the old swings were removed. They had to have swings again.”
Zechman wants to introduce the new climbing cage, “Lewisburg is going to be getting the very first new climber we just designed called the Quito Climber. It’s a super cool multi-sensory, multi-user. It’s going to be at the very entrance of the park. It’s going to greet you as you walk in.”
