MILTON – Look for some long delays Monday and Tuesday on I-80 in Northumberland County while PennDOT works on a late season project. A PennDOT spokesman says alternating lanes of I-80 west and east will be closed from the Susquehanna River Bridge to just east of the I-180 interchange from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Road work in that portion of I-80 has caused many traffic backups in both directions. Motorists should allow extra time or seek an alternate route.
