KULPMONT — A Kulpmont woman is jailed after using a 22 caliber air rifle to shoot her husband in the face late Saturday night. It happened at their home, Kulpmont police say Helena Crosby said her husband was aggressive and threatened to kill her.
There are reports the pellet is still lodged in Vincent Crosby’s brain, a nursing supervisor tells WKOK Vincent Crosby remains in critical condition.
Helena Crosby was taken from the home, charged with aggravated assault, and is jailed in the Centre County Prison in lieu of $100,00 cash bail. A dog residing in the home was cared for at the scene and placed with a local animal shelter overnight. (Matt Catrillo)
