KULPMONT — A 30-year-old Kulpmont man was taken into custody by state police following a standoff that started late Thursday night at his home. Shamokin News Item reports Kulpmont Officer-In-Charge Steve Mazzeo said Patrick Shinskie, of 1327 Chestnut St., was handcuffed and removed from his home following a standoff.
