MIDDLECREEK — A Kreamer woman is suspected of abusing a child she was babysitting. According to Middleburg Police, 21-year-old Sierra Bowersox is suspected of causing physical injury to a 3-year-old’s head while babysitting him in November.
Police say the father contacted police when the toddler came home from Bowersox’ home with bruises on his face November 25. She is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, neglect of a care dependent person, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment. Bowersox is awaiting a preliminary hearing on March 9 before Judge John Reed. (Codi Jade)
