ELYSBURG – A popular amusement resort received high marks in a recent national survey. Knoebels Amusement Resort came out on top in the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA) 30th annual amusement park and attractions survey.
NAPHA members named Knoebels as their favorite traditional amusement park, the best park for families, and the Phoenix won favorite wood roller coaster. This is the fifth consecutive year the Phoenix has won that award.
NAPHA members are typically experienced riders who have visited more than 125 different amusement parks and ridden over 350 roller coasters. The organization is dedicated to preserving and documenting the heritage of the amusement park industry, past, present, and future. (Alex Reichenbach)
