Kane Wants to Release Additional Material

HARRISBURG – Attorney General Kathleen Kane wants to release more documents in the ‘Porngate’ scandal. A day after more than 1,000 pages of documents related to the case against Kathleen Kane were unsealed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Kane said in a statement that her office has additional materials that were never submitted to the court as part of any proceedings.

Kane said her office will continue its Right-To-Know-Law requests “solely for the purpose of seeking guidance” on the additional materials.

After her arraignment on charges of conspiracy, obstruction and perjury, Kane requested documents be released by the court in order to show she was a victim of a paybacks for exposing inappropriate emails sent by employees in the Office of Attorney General in what is now being called ‘Porngate.’
