LEWISBURG – A celebration is coming up for some people in the Valley who are overcoming addiction. Union and Snyder County’s 17th Judicial District Treatment Court officials say they are holding their 24th graduation ceremony October 24 at 10 a.m.
Held at the Union County Courthouse, the ceremony will acknowledge the success and hard work of participants continuing their recovery. In a news release, the treatment court group says the participants are continuing their re-integration into the community.
The ceremony will be presided by President Judge Michael Hudock. Graduates will also get the opportunity to address the court on their progress. Light refreshments will be served outside the courtroom immediately following the ceremony. For more info call 570-524-8741.
