MONTOURSVILLE – A busy interstate in Lycoming County will be closed to traffic for several days. PennDOT says Interstate 180 eastbound/Route 220 northbound will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, September 24 through 6 a.m Monday, September 26.
A crane will remove a beam on the Route 15 northbound ramp bridge. The beam was damaged when it was struck by an over-height load.
A detour will be in effect using West Fourth Street and Route 15 southbound. Interstate 180 eastbound/Route 220 northbound will be closed again when the new beam is set. That work is currently scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, October 3 through 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 4.
