SELINSGROVE – This Friday, you can play indoor miniature golf in Selinsgrove to benefit the Snyder County Library System. Putting for Pages is an annual fundraiser for the libraries, organized by executive director Pam Ross.
She says Friday night is for adult golfers, “The event includes two tickets for two drinks from Shade Mountain Winery and Selinsgrove Brewery. It’s just a wonderful party atmosphere. It’s a way to see friends. The miniature golf is set up. You can golf wherever you want. You can do it twelve times. You can do the same hole a bunch of times. There is a lot of food. We have a lot of people such as Isabella’s donating food to us.”
Ross says the golf course is set up inside the Rudy Gelnett Memorial Library in Selinsgrove, “To me, you want to play the course in order. You will go upstairs and start and there are few holes to get yourself used to it and then, you can go a little bit further and there’s musicians there. So, if you need a break, you can sit down and listen to the musicians. If not, you can keep going.”
Putting for Pages adult golf is Friday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Family golf is available Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $5 each. All proceeds benefit all four Snyder County libraries.
