LEWISBURG– Complete with one-on-one consultations and glass bottled milk, a different kind of pharmacy experience awaits customers in Lewisburg. Pharmacists Brad and Jenette Gill opened the doors of The Lewisburg Pharmacy Tuesday. The store is located on the corner of 2nd and St. Mary Streets in the former Temperance House building.
The Gills want to make the pharmacy experience personal again, “We truly want to help the people of Lewisburg and we want to know our customers individually. Where I worked for a corporation before, [I] just wasn’t able to do the things I wanted to do and take care of the patients like we wanted to.”
The locally-owned pharmacy hopes to restore the small town, corner drugstore tradition to downtown Lewisburg. The Gills are excited to offer the whole drugstore experience, including, “a full range of over-the-counter items, including vitamins, cough and cold, and pain relievers. We also have some gifty items…and we have the glass bottled milk that seems to be extremely popular.”
Lewisburg Pharmacy will also be providing the free delivery of prescriptions. (John Brunner)
