DANVILLE – PennDOT is working to improve an intersection near Danville in Valley Township. Work has begun at the intersection of Route 54 and Old Valley School Road. The existing traffic lights are being replaced with a new system with video detection along with guide rail upgrades, new signs and pavement markings.
Lane restrictions will be in effect with flaggers controlling traffic. Work should be complete in late August. (Ali Stevens)
