MILTON – A truck driver from Indiana is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 eastbound in Limestone Township, Montour County. I-80 eastbound is closed due to the crash involving two tractor-trailers. It happened around midnight near mile marker 217.
PennDOT reports that one eastbound lane on I-80 is now open. Westbound traffic is not impacted.
State police say a disabled tractor-trailer was on the right berm of the interstate and another tractor-trailer struck it. 53-year-old Shaun Leffler of Indiana was thrown from the cab and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the disabled tractor-trailer was not injured. (Ali Stevens)
