DANVILLE — A Danville husband and wife will serve probation but not time in prison in connection with their adult autistic sons July 2022 death. The Press-Enterprise reports that police had said the death happened as they tried to restrain him during an uncontrollable outburst at their home. Instead, a few months of house arrest and five year probation terms have been handed to Kristina and Richard Kortes, who are both in their 60’s. The decision came from Montour County court in the wake of no contest pleas given previously. Adam Kortes was 27 when he died three summers ago at a Lower Mulberry Street residence.
