NEW COLUMBIA – Five people are homeless after a fire along Creek Road in White Deer Township, Union County. The fire broke out around 7:30am Thursday, it was a Alexandra Erlston and James Mallick family home that was destroyed.
The cause of the fire is not known, a fire marshall is investigating. Fire Companies from White Deer Township, Milton, Lewisburg, Mifflinburg, and Warrior Run responded to the scene. Northumberland was transferred and is on stand-by. (Matt Catrillo)
