SELINSGROVE – Police are investigatinga homicide in Selinsgrove. Police say the incident occured in the 600 block of Ninth Street in Selinsgrove. Sources tell WKOK a woman was beaten and died at the scene. There was a man in the home who was also injured. Snyder County District Attorney Mike Piecuch confirms the case is a homicide, but did not give the woman’s name. He did say there is no danger to the public.
Selinsgrove and Shamokin Dam police were called to the scene early this morning. The investigation continues.
