MILTON – Police are investigating a home invasion in Milton early Monday morning. Milton police tell us they were called to the 300 block of Mahoning Street for a report of a home invasion in progress around 12:30 a.m. on Monday. A woman in the home told police a man dressed in all black was found standing in her living room.
Police arrived to find an open door at the back of the home leading to the basement. They investigated and found that the suspect had fled the scene. The woman locked herself in a second floor bedroom with her baby and brother and called police when she saw the man in her home. She was not harmed.
The suspect was described as being about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, dark colored jeans, dark shoes and a ski mask. Anyone with information is asked to call Milton Police. (Ali Stevens)
