SUNBURY – Two Northumberland County commissioners will get their day in court next month. A hearing is scheduled for February 2 on the suit brought by Rick Shoch and Sam Schiccatano.
The two commissioners have filed a lawsuit against the county and former commissioners Vinny Clausi and Stephen Bridy to reinstate the commissioners’ salaries to $61,000. The former commissioners voted in December 2014 to reduce the salaries of all incoming commissioners.
Shoch and Schiccatano claim the vote was illegal. Centre County senior judge David Grine will hear the case in Northumberland County.
