Williamsport, Pa. — NorthCentralPA.com is reporting Police responding to a call for shots fired early Saturday morning say they found a body lying in the roadway.
Officers from the Williamsport Bureau of Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Memorial Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive male lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.
First responders attempted to render aid, but the man was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing
