DANVILLE – An 11-year-old girl from Northampton County is still hospitalized after a tree fell on her family’s campsite in Elysburg.
Caitlin Keeney was injured when strong storms rolled through The Valley August 16. The family was sitting at a picnic table at Knoebels Resort campground when a 40-foot tree branch fell onto them in strong winds. Caitlin is still listed in critical condition at Geisinger Medical Center. Three other members of the family were injured, but have since been discharged.
