Discussing the state of health care in America
DANVILLE – The ‘state of healthcare’ will be debated at a major national conference this week and Geisinger will be involved. Dr. David Feinberg, Geisinger President and CEO, will be argue that the US healthcare system is not terminally broken.
The discussion will take place this year’s “Transform,” annual health care innovation conference hosted by the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
Feinberg will part of a live stream debate Thursday at 4:45pm. Dr. Feinberg and another physician will be opposed by former CEO of Permanente Robert Pearl, and celebrated author Shannon Brownless, who wrote; Overtreated: Why Too Much Medicine is Making Us Sicker and Poorer.
