DANVILLE—Geisinger and St. Luke’s University Health Network debuted their new Life Flight helicopter Tuesday in Danville. The health system says Life Flight 6 is a state-of-the-art air ambulance with the ability to transport two patients, medical team and equipment. Life Flight 6 will go into service for the Lehigh Valley July 1.
Last year, Geisinger and St. Luke’s announced an air medical transportation collaboration, with Geisinger handling air ambulance service for the St. Luke’s system.
