Gasbuddy ‘Still Optimistic’ for Gas Below $4 Nationally This Summer

HARRISBURG – Gasbuddy says it’s still optimistic prices at the pump will be below $4 per gallon for most, if not all summer long.

Heading into Memorial Day weekend, Gasbuddy says gasoline prices nationally could rise slightly if there are positive developments in the debt ceiling discussions. They say gas prices overall are still on the right path to be below $4 per gallon for most of the summer.

Gasbuddy.com reported in Monday’s news release…state gas prices fell two cents per gallon in the past week and now average $3.63 per gallon.

They says the national average price of gas remains unchanged from last week, but diesel prices fell 3.2 cents per gallon, and now average $3.94 per gallon.
