HARRISBURG – Big news regarding prices at the pump, as gasoline costs are back at pre-Ukrainian war levels.
Gasbuddy.com reported Monday; a new record was also set for the largest single day decline in the national average price of gasoline.
Gasbuddy says the national average price of gasoline fell 12.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.52 per gallon.
Gas prices in Pennsylvania declined 5.7 cents per gallon, and average $3.95 per gallon. The national average price of diesel also fell in the past week at 7.9 cents per gallon, and now stands at $5.20 per gallon.
Gasbuddy says it remains ‘entirely possible’ the national average price of gas could fall under $3 per gallon by Christmas.
