Gasbuddy: Gas Prices Likely to Hit Lowest Since COVID

HARRISBURG – Another mixed report from Gasbuddy, they report Pennsylvania gas prices fell 2.5 cents per gallon this week and now average $3.69 per gallon.

The national average rose slightly, up 0.4 cents per gallon and average $3.51 per gallon nationwide.

The national average price of diesel fell again this week at 4 cents per gallon, and stands at $3.97 per gallon.

Gasbuddy says, while gasoline prices are heading down to pre-COVID levels this month, they aren’t expected to rise significantly when summer demand picks up.

Bottom line, Gasbuddy says prices at the pump may not hit the predicted $4 per gallon mark this summer.
