HARRISBURG – Prices at the pump fell across Pennsylvania and nationally this week for the second straight week.
Gasbuddy.com reported Monday state gasoline prices fell three cents per gallon in the last week, now averaging $3.91 per gallon. Nationally, gas prices fell 9.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.77 per gallon.
Gasbuddy says the drop again this week is due to significant demand declines in the West and Great Lakes, as well as the usual seasonal decline in demand elsewhere. That could lead to another drop in prices at the pump this week as well.
However, the national average price of diesel rose four cents per gallon, now averaging $5.30 per gallon.
